Point to Point

Point to Point is a short film about two artists who ‘meet’ to draw at set times, divided by five miles of the North Sea between the Naze on the Essex side and Landguard Point on the Suffolk side. Simon Carter and Jevan Watkins Jones began to ‘meet’ in 2019, thinking about ‘the possibilities and impossibilities of communication’. As the world changed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and voluntary isolation became enforced, the questions they were asking suddenly became relevant to us all.
